I've had the pleasure of knowing Lucie since high-school. We have always remained good friends. Lucie is the type of person you won't talk to for months, but the moment you do it's like no time has gone by. She has a talent of making people feel important and an eye for anything bold and fashion foward.
Back in October of 2016 Lucie asked me to take pictures of her and Mitchell- little did she know I had already been in contact with Mitchell and he told me he was going to propose during their session. I was so giddy I couldn't stand it. He proposed, she obviously didn't say no (side note: Mitchell is heaven sent) and they asked me to photograph their wedding.
Lucie and Mitch both come from different backgrounds that they merged together perfectly for their big day. Lucie's family is Hispanic, and it was so fun to see her family bring their traditions to the wedding while still accommodating for Mitchell's. I can honestly say it was the perfect blend between the two. The DJ, Scott McLaughlin played a mixture of Hispanic music and today's biggest hits of several genres to make it all come together.
The wedding was very boho with touches of rustic decor. Lucie's mom provided home-made food for the reception. From getting ready to the grand exit- the bride, groom, and vendors made the whole day beautiful, relaxed, and romantic.
